In a bleak year almost halfway in, and with not a great deal to cheer about, the fact that Fevola is 2nd on the goalkicking table amongst the likes of Brown and Hall is a great thing. With so limited opportunity, this and one M. Murphy are probably the two highs of the season for Blues so far, overall. Well done Fevola keep up the hard (and probably painstaking) work. It's probably about bloody time, but at least it's there. |

Begs the question: why don't we kick it long to him? |

Because he usually has 2-4 players on him. |

Yep as Nick said, he usually has half the opposition side on him. He has to work freakin hard for most of his goals, so to have 37 sausages in a bottom of the table side is imho a good achievement. Having said that if he chucks it in in the 2nd half of the year I might be eating my words. |

If only he wasn't suspended for the match against the Hawks and Dawson... Fev has been great all year and it's not just his goalkicking. I've been very impressed with his second efforts and body language which has been a problem in the past. My GOD . . . if we had a decent midfield ![]() |

if he had have been playing for any other team in the league (bar Essendon*) he would have at least 50 goals. because there's nothin left in our forward line he's getting 2 or 3 players everytime bit like nick stevens but if he keeps up the hard work and persistence i hope it all pays off for him and he can reap the rewards with youngsters such as murphy, simmo, betick and maybe gibbs delivering the ball lace out to him and when kennedy and waite and fisher develop and they take up some of the tall backs |

He's at his peak right now and IMO is the best full forward in the comp. |

Thought he looked better leading out from the goalsquare in the last quarter. Our fellas were then forced to kick it past the 50 metre arc. He's having a few kicking issues though - commentators suggested his grip has changed slightly. |

Well he proved me wrong this week. I thought that coz he was on TFS this week he'd have a shocking game. He usually does, but this week he did well. Let's hope he keeps up the good work. |

He is doing all that is asked of him, chasing and harassing and trying to keep the ball in the forward line with delivery that would make Matthew Richardson roll his eyes and go troppo in despair. He is virtually knackered by 3/4 time - the fact that he was able to get a few cheapies in the last quarter is a reward for effort he makes. Will reap the rewards when our mid-field guns Simpson and Murphy put a bit more beef on and can win a bit more contested ball in the middle. ![]() |

i feel sorry for fev. all the shit he has to deal with playing for us. can you imagine him at westcoast. he'd crack the ton every year. he's been a big improver in his attitude this year. if he has a on day with kicking he will get himslef a big bag of 8 or 10 soon enough. maybe against the roos. usually does okay against them. |

Tipping he could kick 70 this year. If we didn't flood as much, he could probably kick 90! But i'm more impressed with the maturity he has developed. Good on you Fev.................Keep it up and you could make Vice Captain. |

He's doing well - let's trade him to WC for the Judster ![]() Offer the great man the captaincy and $750K per year for 5 years. The weagles could use a FF that gets the footy and kicks 100 goals yet would still have enough young mid-fielders to do the job for 5 years. We could put Lance a FF and we'll then only have to find a FB and another key Mid in this super draft and we're happy. Juddy would give us all the charisma we need ![]() |

Just wish the umpires can pick up the fact that his arm is being held quite a lot. That last kick into the forward line with the ruckman Brogan in front of him and full back behind.... another example of being held. GIVE HIM THE FREE KICKS HE DESERVES. |
