I had the task of babysitting my 12 year old Nephew and 10 year old Neice over Queens Birthday weekend. Their parents are casual Kangaroos supporters and as such the kids are fairly indoctrinated already. They get to return the favour this weekend as Mrs Brizzy and I will spend some time up the Sunshine Coast whilst the Blues have the break. ;-)

With the nippers being bored I gave them a prepared team sheet and a rundown on each player against WC. I said if they can invent logical nicknames for all the players, we would take them to the flicks in a couple of weekends time. You know, popcorn ice creams, drinks etc.

Well this is what they came up with (with help from Mrs Brizzy I suspect), and I reckon there are some better nicks than some of the players already have. :cool:

Now firstly I gave them the list of numbers.

With scrap paper to scribble their observations on, they then filled in beside each name the final nick they worked out for each player. Very interesting exercise. These are their final list, but I have jumbled them up to see if you can work them out. If you get them all correct, you can come to the flicks too! :razz:
