This year, the gap between Whitnall's worst and his best has been a lot narrower than the gap between Stevens' best and worst. We need stability and consistency. Stevens would be an alright deputy for Lance.

Good reward for some great work.

We've actually got a few people who've pulled their fingers out this year.... Fev, Scotland, Thornton, plus of course a few of the youngsters. Just goes to show it's a true team game and our weak links are really killing us.

Am happy with that choice. His form is solid and he is confident enough to speak up and direct the players into position and in the pre-game huddle.

If he's acting Captain, then maybe he can act like a leader as well. :P

Jokes aside, he's earnt it and the others in the radar haven't. Even Synbad should be able to admit that. Before he rightly says we don't have many other options.

Good based on his performance. But I've still got a lingering distrust of him - but that's probably because he's a gingha.
