Carlton coach Denis Pagan has raised questions about the leadership of the Blues after Friday's last-quarter fadeout against the Kangaroos according to Blues utility Matthew Lappin.

Does it have to be the players fault EVERY WEEK??????

I mean, sure - they have to take responsibilty but blaming them week-in week-out...........................how is that gonna help?

It's the same story every week really. If we win, it's "Well done Denis". If we loose it's "all the players fault".

It is a valid point. Where was Skinny and Whitts in the last quarter.

As for being sick of this crap, same could be said for the anit pagan trolls after every loss.

Broad and unfouded genrealisations like the players get blamed EVERY WEEK is just crap. Pagan was full of praise for the players after the WCE game.

Admittadly,.......................i have noticed a change in out game plan in the past two weeks as we have flooded ALOT less and have played more attacking style, especially throught the corridor too..............so that's a start.

Oh that's right..................i forgot we're not aloud to criticise Pagan. He's off-limits.

It HAS made for a much more entertaining game hasn't it! And we've been way more competitive too.

I think we have flooded maybe twice in the past two games, as compared to flooding 5 or 6 times a quater in previous times.

IMHO, friday night was one of the best games of the year for both sides.

Why couldn't the coach send the runner out and go around to the backline and midfield to keep attacking?

Why couldn't Pagan have foreseen it might happen because it happened the week before and told them to keep attacking?

We ran out of legs. Not the coaches fault or the senior players' fault. Stevens, Scotland and Lappin ran their guts out, so did Murphy and Simpson. We need more midfielders to rotate through there.

It wasn't the running out of legs that was the problem, as far as I could see it, it was the decision-making, and the change from a playing-to-win to a playing-not-to-lose style, and that ultimately cost us momentum, and the match.
