More proof that Prenda, Teauge & Cory are GGGGAAAAWWWWNNNN!

I honestly don't know how those three ever got in the leadership group anyway.

Great news. Am over the moon to see Fev and Simmo in there - bit 'meh' over Scitland.

I'm surprised to tell you you the truth. Prenda is a great communicator...he's our AFLPA rep and he's well liked - it's unfortunate that his footy isn't that flash.

As for Heath "I wanna be a gangster" Scotland...well - he's a fine role model for the youngsters. Leadership is off field as well as onfield, so that surprises me a lot that he's been given the call-up. Let's hope it's a catalyst for him to get his ass into gear.

also well done to scotty and simo, simo in my eyes has been the most improved player this year.

Outside of his impact on the game, Simmo has become a real leader on the field with his directional play and pointing out where other players are to go.

Finally, after years of eating dirt, isnt it great to see that new tier comign through?

(I say finally not as any disrespect to our younger players, more the Club's reluctance to have more & more of them and give them more & more opportunity)

Great news and well done on Simmo, I think Russell can learn alot from Simmo.

Both move really well and have good skill, if Russell can introduce a bit of Simmo's hunger he will be very good.

Doesnt have to have been like that at all. The three demotees work hard, train hard and are very good role models for young players. Its just that they aren't the future, and in many respects, aren't up to todays game, thus their demotion.

This is a great announcement for the future.

Im oner of these people that think McGrath can still be of good use.

We have turned him into something he isnt and not bothered to have a look at what he is.

Like you molesy.. full credit to the trio who were omitted. Application is first rate and theyre all team players.

Sad to see 3 triers get demoted, but the fact remains; you can't have three leadership group players lining up in the twos. Their on-track attitude and preparation should still be a model for younger players and I share the sentiments on corey, definately has a future.

Not sure what Heath Scotland has done to earn the on-going snipes from carlton supporters - he's been our best and most consistant midfielder this year and has performed over what was expected of him since crossing from collingwood. He isn't perfect, we're all aware of his tendancy to storm out of defence before chucking a u-turn and hitting it sideways, but this is a reflection of a game plan or poor execution of one -there's simply no one to kick it to. Similarly Walker storms out of defence and routinely kicks it to no one, yet is praised. I'm glad the powers at be appreciate the worth of Scotland to this club.

Kudos also to my fave cfc player Kade Simpson, you would think that after his early senior berths he would have seriously doubted his own abilty at AFL level, which makes the way he plays his football now all the more admirable.

Simpson you little beauty.

He'll be our evergreen darkhorse that continually gets underrated I reckon.
