Or at least not one that barracks for Carlton. So much fodder in our list for road kill: Teague, McGrath, Wiggins, Scotland, Sporn... but you have to take Waite, Fisher and now Murphy (probably robbing him from a rising star). Why lord, WHY? - Twinone |

![]() ![]() I just hope that Waite and Fish, in particular, aren't the sort of guys that are continually injured. How we could be using those two blokes in our attacking 50 right now! |

Reminds me of 1977, feeling old now. We went crap, but it was the first a time a few young 17 yo midfielders, Buckley, Sheldon, Harmes and Marcou introduced themselves to the Carlton seniors for the first time. You just knew they would be good. in the end they were "superstars" of the club in multiple premiership teams. Another time when the coach made a difference. Players lost under Ian Thorougood, lost way further under Ian Stewart the next year when we found the bottom of the ladder until he left, to almost instant turnaround to finalist under Jezza in the same year and premiership the next year. Hopefully history will repeat itself. |

leave Scotland and Wiggles alone. There have been quite a few players that have been a lot worse than those two. Elevate some rookies and see if they can play AFL, thats all we can do. |

God how I despaired whenever he tore us apart. He was very very unlucky not to be a Brownlow Medalist so soft was the reason he was suspended. |

We need Fev to continue kicking goals so he can win the Coleman medal. He is a big chance. Murphy is still a chance to win the NAB rising star award. You might remember in 1995, Nick Holland only played half a season and beat Campo to win the award. Murphy by a fair amount of votes would be leading it at this stage. We still may walk away with some individual awards at the end of the year. |
