1. Wayne Harmes: Absolute dynamo who was a gamebreaker.

2. Wayne Johnston. Tough skillfull big game player who delivered the goods when it counted. Would set the tone when it was required.

3. Bruce Doull. Just class with everything he did. Pure.

1. Jezza - like every Carlton kid born in the 60s I was forever taking "Jezzas" over my sisters and against the brick wall of the fireplace, he was magic to watch

2. Johnno - the Dominator was Carlton personified, you knew if it was an important game that he would be on fire and come out firing

3. Buzz - I loved the fact that he could do anything and he told you and the opposition in advance. I was devastated when he went back home after so few years in the navy blue - I still think if he had stayed for a few more years our premiership count would 18 or 19 and the bummers would not be anywhere near us

1. Bruce Doull

...my Dad told me one day "Try watching Doull for the next 10 minutes...you'll learn a lot" (it was a great lesson and to this day I love watching the greats to see what they do and how they react - even when the ball is down the other end).

2. Peter Motley

...had that classic 80's look. Played pretty decent footy too. Can still vividly remember the great mark he took in the '86 final against the Hawks.

3. Stephen Silvagni

...got his number on my Avco training jumper in 1985.

Stephen Kernahan:

Was everything a Captain and CHF should be who made everything happen in the forward 50.......

Stephen Silvagni:

Was everything a great defender should be, and repelled everything that entered the defensife 50.......

Craig Bradley:

Was everything that a great centreman should be who was the cherry in between the above two champions mentioned.

well im a young carlton supporter so what i have seen...

1. Andrew McKay - loved the way he played, always ran in staight lines, reliable and finished off with people still thinking he was a good player.

2. Kouta
3. Bradley / Silvagni

interesting Silvagni is scoring well, i know he was a gun but i remember when i was a kid going to the footy 93/94 he had plenty of carlton supporters who didnt really like him.

1. Kenny Hunter.
2. David Rhys-Jones
3. Kouta

Sadly I didn't see as much of Rhys as I could have - every week when my old man would take me to the footy it generally went... "Pity, Rhys is suspended again..."

I remember every kid idolising SOS. My first jumper was long sleeves No1.
