come on people, vote for Carrots-he is currently getting spanked by Davey. Double Andy's votes

Seriously, how good were both goals! Davey's was just ridiculous, he has so much skill. Carrots' was also very good, I certainly jumped out of my seat. What annoys me though is that he can kick those sorts, but misses the simple set shots from 15 metres out

How ironic- it is pick 2 V pick 3 in the 2003 Rookie Draft.

Funny, as outrageous as that sounds, at that point, it probably would have :)

Who's on 7% then?

I'm really shat off about AD's goal. It was pretty much the only thing that would have been able to beat the fluke from our ol' mate Carrots. And everyone bloody wetting themselves over it doesn't help any.

Matthew Robbins I think, his goal wasn't bad either.

You're right about one thing Nick - that is outrageous. I understand it was a sitter that was missed but are you seriously saying that, had he have kicked the goal, we would not have lost by 65 points???

Outrageous indeed :garthp:

Not as outrageous as you're making it out to be. Had he not ballsed up the kick, we'd have been less than 10 points down at QT with more confidence - that great intangible. What effect did 2.5 vs 5.0 have on the playing group considering that at least 3 of the 5 behinds were very gettable? Probably a lot. If we'd kicked straight, we'd have given a much better account of ourselves.

The Carrazzo Gang - has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?

I agree with what your saying TheHalford.

Confidence is a wonderful thing and when you miss from 15 metres out and kick into the man on the mark to boot, it's crushing to the morale of the fans.

So I can only imagine/wonder how it will crush the players.

Are you guys for real?

You cant tell me when Carrazzo took the mark and went back to line up for goal people were thinking that he was really going to kick it.

I was sitting around a heap of fans and they were all saying that it could still go anywhere, I was the only 1 who said he would kick it and when he missed I got pointed at and laughed.

That 1 goal was not a game turner, and if you think it was your kidding yourself. What about 3 hit the posts in the same qtr or the fact that we cant man up and consistantly turn the ball over?

No, shit no, Fullmont. I was expecting him to balls it up as well and was sadly correct. BUT that miss along with the 3 posters would have sapped confidence pretty badly - especially that kick, considering it was so bloody easy. Not a game turner, but a game-path-confirmer. We had a chance pre kick. As soon as it left the boot we were [REDACTED] is what I'm saying.
