I wanted to bring up two glaring problems I witnessed today. I have been suffering with migraines and topped up on Panadol so I might of been seeing things ![]() Houlihan would be better served sitting on the merry go round at the local carnival he runs around in circles that much. When Houlihan is damaging he runs through the lines and disposes with precision or kicks goals. IMO I think his move to defence has hindered his natural instincts. I would love to see Houlihan moved to the wing or forward flanks as his ability to read the play and rove packs is something we miss when Eddie is of his game. Stevens. Remember the media scrutiny lance faced rocking up to pre-season training overweight? Stevens was mentioned in the same article. What has changed 17 games into the season? Lance is trim as he can be, but Stevens for a supposed elite midfielder and leader is a simple fat cat. No muscle tone at all, gets bruchsed aside by opposition kids, can't tackle and doesnt chase. Pagan need set the record straight with him this pre-season, pointless to trade him as IMO if he applies himself and becomes fit and toned he will be the gun we know he can be. |

Houlihan chasing his tail has been shitting me too, especially when he turns it over afterwards. Every game I see of Stevens of late has me agreeing with Hammer more and more. |

Houlihan's disease seems to be contagious - first I noticed Scotland a few weeks ago spinning around everytime he got the ball on the half backline, today it seemed to be the whole backline/midfield. Our first instinct is to look back or sideways rather than look up and see what is ahead - it used to annoy me, today it drove me mental |

The highs and lows of Brad Fisher. Best mark at the club but he's also the worst kick. O'Hailpin had a real dirty day maybe we could try something different and have him swap roles with Fisher. |

Waitey. Apart from the great grab he took, he was hopeless today. Shouldn't be playing up forward when he is such a shocking kick for goal. |

I agree... With Stevens, they try to get him to do a tagging role so he is not always being tagged, but he can't even be bothered manning up. The countless amount of times Bell ran forward with Steven jogging 30 metres away today was pathetic. If Pagan had balls he would be playing in a red jumper next week. IF he is prepared to make a statement to Lappin then he can do the same with Stevens. |

Also, Eddie can't afford to go missing every second game. 6 possessions isn't good enough. He was alright with that effort in the middle of the ground, but he just keeps having no impact on games. |

Just what kind of a "gun" player is Stevens? I could pick the All Australian midfeild at least two times over and it wouldn't include Stevens. |

If I was picking Carlton's best 18 it wouldn't include Stevens. |

Carrazzo has begun to shit me to tears. If he marks it he takes the De Luca option of waiting as long as possible until there are no leads left, if he gets it in open play his first instinct is to stop and at best look for a sideways hand ball if not a backwards one. Provides not much run, and is a massive disappintment to me. Definitely delistable |

Unfair critisising Waite IMHO. He isn't match fit and will be better for playing the rest of the games this year and a big pre-season. Stevens has no excuses. Seriously this guy is just so unaccountable, and I think Denis just makes it worse playing him as a tagger. He looks like he's lost interest. Houlihan... pffffftttttt silky skills now involve 1 metre handballs and 16 metre kicks. We have too many similar players in the team... need to change how we play some of them ie Waite to midfield after more cardio training..... or look to trades. |

Even before his injury he couldn't kick straight I get angry because he has so much potential but never finishes off the hard work |

We have worse problems than Stevens and Houlihan, they get the ball, thats what they do. |

Didn't Stevens come back overweight after being given a directive to not train due to a groin issue? Big negative for mine was the ruck division, Sandilands is tall and resultantly a good ruckman but they had a chance to make him pay around the ground and didn't. |

And he's been training and playing all year, and is still overweight why then? |

I have a mad idea, lets bag our own players, especially our best ones. |
