We beat a team twice in the same season.
We won.
We get to sing the song.
Fev is a star.
Simmo is too.
Walker has skills.
I could get 8 this week.

We won because we wanted to win, we tried our guts out and got the result we wanted.

French had a reasonably good last quarter.

Walker was outstanding...

and Fev will win the Coleman :P

Stevens played as good as he's paid.
Kicking was better at goal.
Simpson is a gun and at pick 45, LOL, he's not far of best player to come out of that draft.

Can't log on to CFC homepage which means shitloads of folks are trying to access it.

EDIT - Kouta saying he's going to make decision in the next two or three weeks

htp says - keep playing, Kouta, but accept a smaller impact role (and associated smaller pay packet)

How good is it to see our younger players being the major contributors week in week out, for them to experience a rare win is great stuff. They'll see plenty more in the future no doubt, but getting a small taste of success will do them wonders I reckon.

No Murphy, Kennedy, Bower or Hartlett! :-D

And that's better than Essendon* knocking off Brisbane with their geriatrics playing well.

Lachlan Hansen here we come!

Waite and Fisher kicked straight

Walker - BOG IMO

Bentick's job on Mclean

The entire defence were very good

Lappin and Stevens ran and presented; Scotland was also once again very good

Great game from 1AW.
Scotland continues to be Mr Reliable and was good defensively today too.
Stevens was good for the 1st half and the last qtr.
Fisher and presented and delivered.
T Bird and Lance were solid
Simo and Bentick solid all day.
French - best game in a while.
Stability in the last quarter - some senior players stood up. Lappin, Lance, Houla was good at the end too.
We kicked for goal better than we have for while, was nice to see us 5.2 early on rather that 1.6

We won although we were crucified by just about every soft free going against us, and the ridiculous non decisions - we missed about 10 obvious holding/throwing the ball decisions, not to mention about half a dozen obvious holds pushes and high hits, and Neitz getting a free for holding TBird by the jumper :garthp: .

Bummers back on the bottom - lets hope they stay there. :-D

A fitting reward for Simmo to celebrate the sealer after his years work so far.

Thought Barney really stood up today despite some rediculous free kicks against him.

Despite a couple of horrendous clangers I thought both Carrotts & Corey were great.

Stevo & Skinny really contributed today.

Our 2 young defenders in Tbird & AW were rock solid. Great signs for the future.

Houlihan had a very good game today. Well done to him.

Some good things await us on & off the field. :)

Best part for me was seeing the younger players like Walker, simmo, Blackwell, Russell, Carazzo etc run to the crowd clapping their hands and acknowleging our support at the end of the game.

Great to see the youngsters enjoy the win.

Also well done to Russell, despite kicking the ball short in the dying minutes and turning the ball over his run was good in the last quater as was his hard attack on the ball and player.

Youngsters showed that there are some very good times ahead.

GO THE YOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
