From where i am you don't get the media that you guys do.....so i haven't had the fevola overload

SO i will say this....based on what i heard from his 3AW post game interview today, there can be no doubt we have a leader..........he was outstanding in the interview.....

1) the bloke is so positive
2) he is confident
3) he talks up his team mates with hard stats (one e.g mcgrath stats after he went onto Yze and shut him down)
4) sppoke about the future and playing finals in two years
5) yes he BELIEVES and not just says we ARE going places
6) talked about sitting down and assessing his career and his opportunity last year
7) belives that it takes discipline and hard work - something he is committed to
8) AW boys gave him a huge rap as an example of someone having made a decision to make something of himself

This guy is good.

i believe fevola is one of the catalysts for the enthusiasm shown by our younger players, i reckon he really fires them up.

DP just finished his press conference and was full of praise for fev and named about 10 young players he was really happy with. also mentioned that he wants to see JK play a blinder tomorrow.

His tunraround in attitude this year has been excellent. I'd love to see him as captain, although I'm not sure whether the club will go for it.

I loved his push and shove with Whealan at half time. It was controlled agression and a real show of strength. I'm sure it made his teammates walk taller as they came off the ground.

Yes!!!

I can gloat a bit now because 90% of the posters I spoke to last year wanted him traded.

I remember a post, infact I'll call it an essay written about why Fev is shit and how he should be traded ASAP last year which was obviously written by an educated fella but the fact that it was just so wrong ....makes me happy. :-D

GO FEV!!!

:-D

There has never been any shortage of Fev knockers.

I remember going to PP in 1999-2002 and sticking up for Fev in the crowd against all the knockers in the crowd, glimpsing the potential I hoped would be realised.

It is really sweet to see a guy like Fev, buckle down and change his lifestyle so that he can get the most out of himself and the club. I am more confident that it will continue now than at any time since he started playing.

On MMM they interviewed Andrew Carrazzo.

A topic they discussed was Fevolas improvement and maturity. They asked Carrots if he would like to see fev captain...

I wasn’t expecting him to say any thing bad about fev..... He did say that all the younger players looked up to him as a mentor because of his presence on the field. Carrots elaborated by saying he makes the younger players feel more confident and safer with him, because he’s the first one to defend them when a there’s trouble.

FEV 4 CAPTAIN.....

Yet there are people on these boards who don't believe that flying the flag for teammates is worthwhile.....

I admit I wanted him out.I was wrong.I cant see him turning back the other way now.Well done to Fev.He is playing hurt.No doubt.Since the Kangaroos game his mobility isnt the same and his finger as well.Yet he has got on with the job.Full credit to him.

As for the coleman they should give him 2 medals.

This could be why Fevolution loves Fev....

Seriously though - the guy has gone from clown to leader in a few short years and he represents the club so well these days...but all the same it would be lovely to hear from someone like Thornton or Walker or Fisher after the game, not just Fev, Whitnall and Stevens all the time...

Walker was interviewed after the game. So was McGrath & Carrazzo.

FEVOLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

Proud to say i wasnt one of the bananas that wanted him traded...

Didnt dominate today but kicked 4 and could have kicked 7.

He is grinding games out now and accumulating goals.

The other thing he does is he bites.

Kouta was interviewed after the match and said that Stevens and Whitnall were the two candidates for the job. Didn't mention Fevola as a possiblity.

It's not up to him to nominate his successor.
