... is a game where, despite having another of THOSE years, your team pulls out something special to help you have a great weekend, it makes all those times where you can't go worthwhile.

I took the advice of verbs last week and decided to give work a break and attend the footy. To be honest, I thought we were in for one of those days, but it's all about the kids right?

The only other time I've been able to go was against Richmond and Hawthorn this year, both disappointing games :(

So I thought i'd just try and enjoy the footy today instead of getting frustrated like every other week listening to poor radio calls (3AW and MMM).

To get 2/2 over the Demons and leapfrog Essendon* , at least for a matter of hours, is a great Saturday to have.

It wasn't pretty, but it was committed football and enjoyable to see the team not give in and lift another notch. Kade Simpson and Brendan Fevola are two wonderful players worth watching each week. And another Neitzless day was just fantastic :) A lot of players who could get a mention but i'll leave that to other dedicated threads.

Hopefully it's enough for the wooden spoon to be with another club.

Thanks for a good Saturday Blues...

the kid did not want to go today, that after I bought him a new jumper with 6 on the back, then my brother rang him and convinced him we'd win..

We went. The boy went mad at the end, smiling big enough to swallow every tanker on the planet!

That's football

You don't know anything about supporting football and the CFC, Dannyboy - I wish you'd just toe the line

Great stuff! ....it brings back memories of my Dad and me at the footy.
