Have not heard anything, but just wondering whether the club might have pulled a shifty and promoted Ryan Jackson without telling anyone? Because Pagan seems keen to give him a taste this year and I'm pretty sure the cut-off for LTI promotions is this week? Just asking because I remember we did something similar with the big Irishman last year, where he was promoted without press and then suddenly was named to make his debut. Thoughts??? |

i thought jacko would have been slightly ahead of smith in terms of promotion so its a possibility. i think we added smith maybe to cover for wiggins or maybe coz its his last year as a rookie (that might be wrong). |

It's possible I suppose but I would've thought that we'd have heard about it by now one way or the other. I think what we have done is the logical thing. We have promoted Jesse Smith in order to see what he can offer us. Remember, we have to make a decision on him at the end of the season as this is his second year on the Rookie List. With Ryan Jackson, there isn't that sense of urgency in terms of playing him because he still has another season to go on the Rookie List. So I don't think we'll see him this season. |

Wasn't the cut off for Rookie promotions for the rest of the year on Wednesday??? If that is the case, then I'd say Ryan has missed out, or the club is keeping it quiet for whatever reason. |
