Lets get into it.
Out Stevens Obviously is playing injured.
Bentick either the shoulder is knackered or the year has caught up with him
French
McGrath

IN Bower,Jackson(promote) Batson(why not we are getting thrashed in the ruck anyway and Blackwell

I thought French and Bryan did well in the hitouts....it was at ground level we were smacked..several times our mids just dropped the ball after receiving the tap out...Richmond are very pacy which didnt suit Bentick...
Dont think Cory McGrath will ever make a forward either...

Collingwood will load up on talls up forward...I'd play Mclaren on Rocca...Lance isnt up to it....

French won the taps, but they got routinely sharked...

And we can't promote anyone off the Rookie list anymore.

McGrath was okay down back.

Bentick might need a rest.

Stevens definitely does.

And Wiggo if he doesnt get rubbed out should be dropped as well.

Wouldnt it be amazing if DP pulled one from far left field and played Batson. In hindsight your right Elwood but I do think its worth a go.Maybe Bryan could make way for Batson.

I thought Wiggo was excellent. He'll never due wondering, and his disposal was solid.

I'm not sure about "excellent", he went hard at the ball that was about it.

Stevens must be dropped and given the year off - ideally he won't be at Carlton next year as I don't want the youngsters playing the way he does.

From 'Ants seconds to Carlton?

I don't think so.

Why is every one getting into Barnaby ? And for that matter,Bryan. They have done very well for the last three weeks.Question.........are our midfielders nailed to the floor ? talk about flatfooted.Last week Mitchell was actually roving to French and Bryan. He sharked everything. Its when the ball hits the deck when we struggle. And have been for four years.Mitchell,Elshaug, and Liberatore were all onballers werent they ? Admire the loyalty that Denis showes to his assistant's,but if he cant see that we are crying out for another midfield coach then ...............i wonder !!!!!!!!

There are other players that should be dropped before Wiggo.

French may have done well in the hit outs, but other than that he had a woeful game, his disposal is just a disgrace.. I was literally covering my eyes everytime the ball went his way.

'Excellent'... Perhaps 'comparatively excellent'...

Wiggo was ordinary today.Had little impact up forward and his defensive side of his game was missing.(9 possessions no tackles )

He played forward when the ball was nowhere near the forward line...
He played back briefly...
Spent most of the day on the pine...
Still attacked every contest like it was his last...

Runs hard. Good mark. Brave. Presents well.

How many other Blues can claim that four-some?

If the guns in the draft develop quickly next year Wiggo may struggle .I like you admire his tenacity but in the end I dont think he is AFL standard material. He has been there long enough

I think Wiggo provides certain things our side is crying out for. Namely, pace and commitment. I think he may well feature in 07 for these two reasons.

But why should Wiggo be dropped... when there were several other players that played a much worse game than he did!?

I want to see say young blood given a couple of games.mariisa you are right .There were a few guys who were worse than Wiggo. But Smith and Bryan for instance need another opportunity as they have had limited opportunities this year. Also it may not matter anyway If Wiggo is found guilty.

I understand what you're saying Keogh, but Smith, Bryan... and, for that matter Bower, Hartlett, whomever... don't play the same position as Wiggo.

What I wish:

Out: Bryan (weight loss program), Stevens (rested), McGrath, Waite (weight loss program).

In: Bower, Jackson (if possible), Edwards/Russell, Blackwell

Throw Setanta around the place, or make him run with Fraser.

What will probably happen:

Out: McGrath
In: Blackwell

Outs: -
McGrath (for good)
Stevens (don't care what anybody says, i cannot remember the last decent game this guy had.)

Ins: -
Blackwell (should never have been dropped)
Russell (Ditto)

Plus, i wouldn't mind seeing Bower brought in for a game, just to give the fans a taste of what 2007 brings. Dunno who for thou. Maybe Ryan Houlihan or Bentick who has been somewhat down latley.

P.S.............Stop ducking flooding.
