Anyone coming to the Int rules this year, if so how about a game against a local side for a bit of craic or even a few beers before or after the game? Anyone up for it???

the 2006 International Rules series will be played over the weekends of October 28/29 at Galway's Pearse Stadium and November 4/5 at Croke Park in Dublin.

Join the Australian team on the 2006 International Rules Tour of Ireland

But you’ll need to be quick

A limited number of packages has been made available by AFL Travel and the Australian Football League to allow supporters of the Australian team to be part of the official tour.

Supporters taking up this exclusive package will stay at the same hotels as the team, attend training sessions, have great reserved seats at the matches in Galway and Dublin, and be guests at the official post-game reception after the final match in Dublin.

The program
Depart Australia (Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth) on Tuesday, October 24, 2006, and fly economy class direct to Shannon, Ireland. Arrive back in Australia on November 7.

Galway

Transfer to the Radisson Hotel, the official team hotel in Galway.

Five nights’ accommodation at the Radisson Hotel, Galway (in October 25, out October 30).

Attend training session.

Reserved seats at Galway game.



Dublin

Transfer to the Berkeley Court Hotel, the official team hotel in Dublin.

Seven nights’ accommodation at the Berkeley Court ( in October 30, out November 6)

Attend training session.

Reserved seat at the Dublin game at the famous Croke Park.

Special invitation to the players’ post-game reception.

Depart Dublin November 6.



Standard tour cost: $A6990 (twin share, departing Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth). Upgrades to business class travel and single rooms available on request. Connecting flights to departure cities can be arranged on request for an additional cost. Extensions or an earlier departure date can also be arranged. Numbers are limited and bookings will be processed as received via the attached booking form and confirmed on payment of a $A2000 deposit per person by July 14, 2006. Final payments due by September 1, 2006.

Croke Park, Dublin - Sunday 5 November, 2.00pm

Hahahaha.

It will definitely happen Ninja man, I am definitely going to try and get down for a first round game or close to it next season, I wouldnt rule out getting down if the Swans get to the GF, other than that it will be for a Blues game early season then again for the Blues GF appearance next year.
