Pick 19.

It's supposed to be a very deep draft. Plenty of quality left in to the 20s.
If someone offered you pick 19, who would you trade for it?
Be realistic (Prender and pick 60 wont cut it)
Evaluate our list and tell me who you would give up. But dont dwell on it.
Give yourself 5 minutes to decide.

Hmm, Hoops maybe. If we were real bastards and someone took the bait, then Lappin as well. To be honest anyone worth trading we probably need to keep. As scary as that sounds. Unless Dean Laidley is on crack again in which case we'd probably get #19 for Prenda and #60.

Stevens should net a 1st rounder don't you think?

Where are the supposed movers and shakers?

Hoops Camelboy? Do you think Hoops would get you a sub 20 pick in this draft?
Rodney Eade suspects Spider Everitt wont get a pick inside 30!
I'd suggest Ruckmen are more valuable, even if they're old.

Whitnall, Stevens, Houlihan, Scotland, Waite, Fisher, Thornton and they can have pick 60 or any player not listed here or below as well. So if that meant Stevens and Betts then yes. It would probably take more than that though.

Any player outside of Fevola, Murphy, Simpson, Kennedy, Walker and a draft pick after 60.

btw, I think Pick 19 will be purs anyway, so lets say Pick 18 or 20.

To put it in perspective pick 19 is of too much value for Akermanis.
We would have to give up Simpson for pick 19.

Probably not. Hence my comment that anyone that would be worth a swap late 1st round or early 2nd round we probably need to keep.

Having said that, it will be an interesting trade period … seems as though there's a chance for some over-rating of picks. There may be some out and out guns that go in the second round, but I bet there'll be some duds too.

Appart from the obvious two Fev and Murph would any other club want to trade for what we have . We had a few players out there last year in a not so strong draft and couldn't get a nibble

Name names young man!
Pick 18 or 19 is there to take, what will you give up or is'nt it that important?

Hawthorn can have Livingston or DeLuca & Wiggins for it!

Is early 2nd round worth the Murphy, Kennedy, Blackwell, Simpson, Walker or Fevola types that we'd have to offer? I don't.

I reckon we should stick with the likes of Bentick, Fisher, Russell, Raso, Hartlett, Waite and O'hAilpin. In any case trading these guys wouldn't get into the right territory if this draft is so good.

And, if this draft is so good, then we simply don't have enough market value in the players we can afford to lose I don't reckon. Waite, Houlihan, Lappin and Stevens, would be about it. Any of the others we can afford to lose we'd be lucky to get a bag of peanuts for.

Moreover, of the likely clubs to get #18-20 who will trade it?

How about our 2nd round pick and Houla for a pick around 8-16?

Mcgrath and either Bannister or Wiggins or Livingston or any combination of the four. You can also add Prender and Teague to this list. So basically two players for one unknown pick who could turn out to be very average.

WHAT A DEAL. Come on North, you know your'e tempted.

1 Pick available Camelboy.
Pick 19. That's it.

You mentioned Waite, Stevens. Would you offer them?

Whitnall?

Currently Hawthorn but could change this weekend.
Damn forgot the priority pick we get at 17, so 19 is ours anyway. :?
