Was quite funny seeing Alistair Clarkson mark very early in the last, pass off to Donald McDonald, the man he immediately replaced as Hawthorn's coach, both who were being closely watched by Demetriou.

I would have been 7 years old.... I didn't go to that game but I did go to the north/Carlton game played earlier that season. Would have been one of my first games....

I remember The west coast game in round 1 (??) that year at PP... and I think I went to a Melbourne v Carlton game in 1986... (or maybe 1987??)

think I might have been to a Hawks game or 2 around that time as well
