So who's uncontracted at the end of this season?
I know Chris Bryan is, and the fact that he cant make the Bullants team at the moment doesnt look good for him, but who else?

You've been told before that Hartlett is contracted.

Not having a go at you bondi, but considering our parlous ruck situation Deluca may end up staying on the list!! :x

I think you can add Bannister to that list as well. Possibly even Teague, regardless of his contract situation!

Why when he can't even ruck at VFL level? Bryan was a huge loss today.

As much as I dont think Bryan is an AFL standard ruckman, I think in terms of football ability and talent he is miles ahead of ADL. Deluca is simply not good enough for Carlton and I am not basing it on todays performance alone, even though that is a prime example and the latest in a succession of many poor performances.

Personally, I want him gone. But I am not sure whether this will occur considering our ruck situation and the fact that Bryan seems to be down the pecking order at Carlton

If the Match Commitee are seriously debating between Bryan or Deluca and choose attitude over talent, they have lost all respect from me.

Bryan is a ruckman come pinch hitting forward, who has proven he can solo ruck at AFL level and have an impact. He may not be the greatest tap ruckman going around, but he uses his body, has a lovely and ACCURATE kick both short and over distance, and can take one grab pack marks when required. Attitude at training appears to be what has him offside with the MC.

Deluca is a forward who cannot ruck. Delucas cannot take a mark to save himself, has very minimal ruck skills, lack of body work, although is good at breaking packs when he wants to as well as taking out JFK on most occasions. Deluca when playing forward takes most of marks uncontested inside the centre square, most often defensive side and either chips a short pass or handballs off. Deluca is a nice guy apparently and trains very well apparently, but will NEVER be a VFL quality ruckman let alone AFL. Today proved just that when he struggled against young Neaves.

Talent doesn't grow on trees and is clear as day that Bryan is our most talented Ruck prospect. It will be a shambles if he is delisted and Deluca stays on.

Bryan has not proven he can solo ruck at AFL level

His kicking is also overated - he turns it over a lot

Did you not watch his debut season when French was out injured?

Yep, I saw him get beaten in the ruck. One example was the game at the G against Freo.

Really, did you see Jeff White get smashed in the ruck by Fremantle last night. Did you see Deluca rucking that game also?

I don't see White getting smashed every week, unlike Bryan

Where did I defend Deluca? :?

If he's such a good ruck why can't he even get a game in the reserves?? :? :?
