The stupid "no team that has had a priority pick has ever won a flag" argument can end now.

Bring on 2007 and picks 1+2.

Hope so.

most we could win next year should be 6 or 7, so winning 4 or less should not be too difficult, unless someone stuffs it up.

Have West Coast really received a priority pick?

Anyone???

We're coming up for our 4th (5th if we win the AFL over)...so we should be like a powerhouse if we get our 5th/6th come next year right?

Probably 6 premierships back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back???

Right???

Just the guy who was holding the premiership cup on the podium.

We have Walker and Murphy and some speculative pick 17 or something. If we get pick 1 next year as a priority, that would make us at least four times better than West Coast.

Right, geniuses??

Is the player we draft at 17 the equal of Judd?

If we get pick 1 and 2, I suppose we'll be five times better than West Coast if we have both Hansen and Leuenberger. :P 8)

True, pick 17 will be only 17.645705% as good as Judd, but 1 and 2 would be 300% and 200% respecitively better than Judd meaning with all our priority picks we will be approximately 579.4673882% better than West Coast...and they have never "won" a wooded spoon.

Was Judd a PP, or pick one?

This just shows that we shouldn't overlook Hansen for a Hodge!

There's always another Ashley Sampi to be taken at pick six every year.

Technically a priority but they would have pick 3 anyway. They picked Sampi with pick 6 IIRC.

Hawthorn are shit. flower will try to argue otherwise, but they are crap crap crap. Hodge would rule playing for West Coast.

What makes you think this way?

How do you know that Gibbs won't be getting splinters in his arse on the bench all year next year?

How do you know that the other top draft picks won't be banging down the door all year in the bullants?

How do you know that Simmo, Murphy, Stevo & AW won't be flogged to death all year because of little bench rotation.

How do you know that golden boy DeLuca wont be given way too much responsibility and reliance to do things he's not capable of doing?

Denis believes in his 'tried n true' methods and more than likely wont change. I wish he would but his past record of stubborness leaves me fearing another spoon next year.
