OK, Barry Mitchell aside, anybody heard anything? We are supposed to be getting 2 more.

We can safely assume that the current crowd in charge, between jumping at shadows and shoring up their own survival plan, wont be looking to appoint anybody too threatening to themselves.

Amongst some of the 'Rumours' on SEN this morning they named Gavin Crosisca as a strong chance to come to the Blues.

No to Crosisca, he's worked with Pagan before and we desperately need fresh ideas.

Voss and SOS. Sticks has held discussions with Voss and Sticks also wants to bring SOS back to the club.

Voss has said if he doesn't play on next year he will not look at coaching until 08.

Very unlikely that Sticks would be chasing SOS.

well in last weeks sun it had an article and it had sticks talking about how he is trying to lure voss and that the blues are interested in bringing sos back to the club. This is what he said, and with Voss actually said that if he retires he would be interested in being an assistand coach but not a senior coach.

I hope you are right Fevolution, as I'd love to have Voss at the Blues.

I'm just going by a bit in Geoff Mclure's column in The Age the other day.

SOS having talks with Geelong...but doesnt want to commit until he knows the lay of the land with carlton as he still sees a window of opportunity for Pagans job...wants to be senior coach so I'd be watching my back if I was Bomber Thompson or any other coach who gets him as an assistant...

I heard an interview with Voss last week, and he's coming around to the idea of coaching over the media. From what he said, there is a distinct possibility that he will be an assistant coach in 2007.

Brilliant! We won't win the Spoon then next year...Channel 10's team can't be as good as Carlton.

Especially if their prized recruit has bunged up knees.

Just got to hope we get drawn to play them twice.

Where are they going to play their home games? Como Park?

Reading TC has made me a woeful cynic and I couldnt help but be suspicious that the signing of at least one high profile assistant wouldnt be part of the 'Save Smorgo' campaign. In that regard Voss would be Pure Gold!!!

I read somewhere how Sticks had made great stock of how having Voss would add real credibility to any football club. Not sure that is the specific priority quality that most other clubs would be needing to bring on board, but its something we are in desperately short supply of at the moment. If we can get him great, but I wonder what is in it for Voss, you'd think he has the world at his feet right now. The whole AFL world is hanging on his every word waiting for him to select whom is to be honoured with the right to pay him heaps of $$$. What would be his reason for choosing us (aside from $$$).

Apparently the was a Blues fan growing up. It's not much, but it's something no other club can offer him.

Really?

Is that common knowledge, or do you have a source?

(And no, that's not an invitation to go off at me, spider-style  )
