As this Thornton business is a bit overwhelming, while researching Brent Heaver I stumbled upon this link. David Kernahan was a decent FB before h done his knee. More then held his own against Dunstall in particular. That was an era of great FF |

Harsh on Hotton, Backwell, Simpson, Culpitt, Sholl, Oliver, Minton-connell and especially Welsh. All would walk into our current side. Sounds like it was posted by somebody who had never seen any of these guys play and just looked at the stats of players who played under 50 games for us. |

If memory serves me correctly, it was back related hamstrings/groin that killed his career. |
