apparently the Bruce Doull phone call took 10 minutes with about 10 worfs said.

The version I heard was "we'd love you to come to Carlton"

A family friend of Doulls has told me the same things. It was bisacally along the lines of we would love to have you playing with us in the big leagues.

Please note that this has been edited by the Carlton Football Club. Sticks actually said 'No not really' when asked about David and advised that he only drunk West End.

We cannot confirm or deny that except to say that we are partial to outsourcing of our duties at this stage given cashflow issues caused by the non-payment of our article fees by the Carlton Football Club.

Great work Sydney, really good. It's a pity that some of the innocent little gags had to be removed.

West End would have been much funnier. Why did they change it to Fosters - it doesnm't work?

That was good though, not as good as Sydney's earlier efforts in the Board Room.
