If ANY player travelled under the AFL banner to represent Australia etc had "issues" - what level of care should the AFL provide?? It seems the one player that perhaps needed to be looked after was hung out to dry, dumped and left in Europe to find his own way home... Where is the AFL official providing ANY level of care? What sort of organisation abandons players mid-tour and returns home without them??!! |

What sort of organisation abandons players mid-tour and returns home without them??!! The AFL clearly have no clue with regards to conducting an official tour and managing a touring part of its playing group. Every sporting umbrella organisation in Australian from the Gisborne District Cricket Association to the the Australian Rugby Union - conduct representative tours and games of the players under their auspices - and are responsible for the conduct of the tour and their players. But its OK "Demetrispew" of the AFL wasn't drinking. ![]() |
