Great PR opporunity taken up by an interstate side. Meanwhile, Carlton with a traditonally strong Jewish following, do nothing... http://www.news.com.au/heraldsun/story/ ... 61,00.html |

Perhaps David Rhys-Jones and Greg Williams come into it somewhere? Simon Minton-Connell? ![]() |

I'm of the personal opinion that running around putting a Carlton jumper on anyone who's vaguely newsworthy and getting them to smile for the camera with a couple of our fringe players, even when the person has absolutely no connection to the club or to Australia in some cases, is embarrassing and smacks of desperation. But that's just me. Good on the Swans for reaching out to this guy and his children. Bad on the Swans for getting the media to tag along. |

For all us who were prebuscent teenagers in the mid-70s the sight of Agnetha and Frida in a Carlton Jumper was a particular highlight. ![]() |
