In fact looking at the lads out there perhaps the only glaring weakness was the really tall rucks. And even here, watching Setanta and his brother Aisake run laps together your heart just thumps the chest like hands whacking the signage at the ground.

Could these 2 form an all brother ruck combo in the near future? Aisake is over 200 and Setanta’s not far behind, both can run like the famous Irish heroes of the Red Branch (or for Santy like the greatest Irish hero of all - Cuchulain)

Young Jacko is a point. The fact that this kid is still on the rookie list means we are getting better. Has a touch of class about him I reckon and could develop into a front liner yet he is in the back of the pack of midfielders we are developing at Carlton (maybe add Gibbs and 1 or 2 others and it becomes a serious midfield).

Now add the wisdom and inspiration of Rats and Braddles and things must be closer to righting themselves than anyone realizes. That’s why I love summer! Potential is like the distant wave, far out yet coming in and ready to break exactly where you sit on your board, ready for the ride of your life!
