Some dubious spelling SPILIJ,

but otherwise a very nice effort! Gives me some hope for upcoming seasons. Well done :-D

Thats side is actually ok, chuck in Fevola, Waite, Fisher, Whitnall, O halipan and Ackland who are all still young and it shows why will be a solid side 08... and show huge improvement next yr hopefully.

Really want to see FLINT play this year, showed some good potential last season

I strongly believe that a young 203cm Irish boy that can run like a cheetah, jumps like a kanga and hits like a truck will line up with his brother (Setanta) and with his fellow ruckman (who has the same athletic attributes) in Hampson will form the most intimidating ruck duo in the AFL. His name is Aisake o'hAlpin...2010.

The recruitment of Kruezer next year (maybe) and with Leuenberger coming home after his 2 year apprenticeship with the Lions....Carlton will be the land of the giants in 2009.

I haven't been this excited about the prospect of Carlton's awsome future for a very long time...and I tell you... I'm not dreaming.

G'day Molly...yeah really happy. It's a case of bird in the hand. Sure he's a young novice, but he's an athletic ruckman that should come on by 2009...and we've got him! :-D

Now we are less desperate for one...although I would like one more rookied for insurance incase our 196cm ruckmen in Ackland or McLaren breakdown or don't continue to grow.

Has anyone heard how the younger Irishman is going so far?

I know the preseason is only young but it wouldbe interesting to see if he has put on weight and gaining confidence.
