Given Zantuck's history, I find it difficult to give his story much credence.

Good on the Board (or MC or Hughes- more likely!)
This says it all
Quote:
Zantuck said he regretted requesting a trade from Richmond and ending up at Essendon*. "I got crucified at Essendon*. I missed one session and all of a sudden I'm this big bad guy stuffing up the club."

If you ever wanted a serious warning bell....there it is....reminds me of Pierre the c**ksucker - " You suck just one c***....."

(sorry mods- can't bear the poor old Zantuck (and Pagan ) victim crap on the radio at the moment)

I'm so glad we did not draft Zantuck.

Whoever the hell did it, thank you.

Spot on Jack.

Fancy basing a story on what the person who missed out says. We've done our bit for wayward footballers and got bitten.

Zantuck's comments seem more like sour grapes than anything.

Not sure whether this has been mentioned elsewhere but evidently Pagan confirmed on SEN that the board had vetoed Zantuck's selection

Wayne Hughes was on SEN this morning and said the decision on the seocnd player in the PSD was made after Bryan didn't accept the new contract offer. We needed to replace him with another tall and Zantuck was the odd man out despite training well.

No conspiracy theories here - we just addressed a list deficiency and I'm happy with that.

i agree Dukes. If Bryan had stayed they propbaly would have gone for Zantuck.

Casseman gave a hint that height was the overiding factor.

If Bryan had stayed, we wouldn't have had an empty spot on the main list for either Zantuck or Cloke.
