Post subject:  An Interesting Stat?

We here at Wolfister Inc noticed on Saturday afternoon that there was an abnormally large number of players on the Fremantle and Carlton side that had the same surnames :-

Thornton
Johnson
Longmuir
Walker

OK, it seemed like more at the time... but can anyone think of any other games where there have been as many namesakes on the one ground?

While not quite on the same wavelength there was an amusing passage of play yesterday which involved the three Johnsons.

Then of course, won't the meedyah go nuts when the three Clokes take the field one day.

just think... it is possible for there to be 3 shaws (heath, braeden and rhyce) and 3 clokes(trav, cam, jason) on the ground at once and if collingwood is playing Essendon* there could also be 3 johnsons (ben, mark, jason) could also be a lovett as well as lovett-murray etc
