Just checked out injuryupdate.com.au: Brad Fisher Injury: knee ACL Occurred: Last season Expected return: Rnd 15 Still recovering from last year's mid-season ACL reco. Has been placed on the long term injury list. With Fish on the LTI i guess this does open up the possibility for a big irishman to be promoted to the seniors? The fookin hittin' may be about to start!!! |

I'd like to see Setanta stay in the twos actually. The VFL report on the Bullants game onthe weekend mentioned a number of skill errors in between the patches of brilliance. Those skill errors don't matter as much in the VFL but each and every one would be capitalised on in the seniors. I'd like to see him clean those up out of his game before he enters the big league. |

I thought they might put Hartlett on the LTI on the basis of the training reports. If Fev is suspended then its "Giddy Up" time.. ![]() |

I thought Fisher was about to resume and expected to see him play VFL in a couple of weeks. ![]() |

![]() I'd kinda got that feeling too. ![]() I can only think that this has been done to a) be doubly triply safe with Fisher's knee and b) to promote a rookie! |

Setanta and Jessie Smith are miles ahead of Becker. Becker would get slaughtered in AFL football at this stage of his development. |

Very, very valid points Andain. BUT If we were to follow your thoughts we would have 30 players playing in the VFL each week and about 10-12 in the AFL team ![]() Regards Cazzesman |

I would have thought Setanta's comments during the week that he didn't think he was ready for seniors yet would be more relevant. |

Didnt look like a long term injury candidate to me at training today- in fact trained in blue training guernsey -whereas at all other sessions has been training in a different colour to differentiate him from the others |

For the guys who make it to training and/or Bullants games: Which rookie would be in pole position for elevation? Setanta's four goals last weekend are looking mighty good to me, but if his preparation will be diminished by elevating him now then I'm prepared to wait. So if not Setanta, who's next in line? |
