Sorry about this, i forgot all about it. We have 4 tickets tonight for the player guernsey dinner and i have had the info sitting on my desk for over 2 weeks and i've done nothing about it. Initially i hesitated to post when i was trying to get Daniel Batson's sponsorship in but since last week i've got no excuse, just slackness.

Anyway as i said we have 2 tickets for Karl Norman and 2 tickets for Daniel Batson, there are many people eligible to go as being members of each sponsorship deal so any takers for the tickets? I can go tonight if nobody else wants to, but i went in the first year with Headplant so i reckon it'd be better if someone else gets the chance.

It's at Telstra Dome on level 2 in the Medallion Club room, starts at 6.30pm and goes till 10pm. A two course meal is included as well as all beer wine and soft drinks. Parking is underneath the Dome and is about $9 from memory. Those eligible to go are the members of Karl's player sponsor group, and also all those who have pledged for Daniel Batson.

Any volunteers?

I was just about to post this camelboy! Cazzesman and I went as reps for TBV last year. It is quite a good night. You'll have a feed and a drink, meet some of your heroes, get your photo taken with Karl, and receive the official sponsorship plaque to keep. We put last years up on our wall as a joke and forgot to take it down. Now all our friends think we are verrrrryy strange!

C'mon people! Somebody must be able to attend. CB, can we do a PM to everyone? With respect, this sucks. The club has been sending out mail and emails to Guernsey sponsors. This should have been sorted weeks ago.

Agree that it is disappointing I would have put my hand up but kinda short notice to get frocked up when one is already at work oh well....

Sorry heady, the Cazzes would love to go, but I'm home on sick leave today. And we did get to go last year (that was organised last minute as well! ), so it would be great if someone else had the opportunity. Never mind...if TC organises a sponsorship next year we shall endeavour to be more organised! tommi...I remember reading your words of advice last year...didn't understand them, but I appreciated the thought anyway!

It's a shame the Cazzes couldn't make it last night. If memory serves, Norman started playing well last year after the Player's Sponsor Dinner. I put that down directly to the Cazzes' influence on him! I reckon Mrs. C can deliver a rocket as good any!!
