Carlton has 2, 3 if Bryan plays this week. Most clubs have more than this.
Its pretty sad for a club near the bottom.

I'd say a lot of clubs have players from previous drafts though, which we've already played most of them

Agreed - plus Russell isn't physically ready, Hartlett is injured and Raso is definitely not ready.

So the showing thus far has been good. Anyone we haven't played on the senior list aside from the aforementioned and Bryan?

Is Tambling and Danny Myer more physically ready than Russell???These two have played in the same side at the same time....

If youre good enough you get a game..

Is is that Russell is not good enough, or not ready, or is it that the Carlton Selection Committee is too conservative and not with the times?
Collingwood have selected Ilikeabookie already, even though he was taken round 4 at no. 55. You cannot tell me he is more ready than Russell who was taken in the first round.

Of course we can tell you that Laser :P

look, the club will play Jordan when they feel the time is right.

Maybe the fact that Walker hasn't blitzed since his debut is making them think again about playing the youngsters too soon.

Maybe the fact that the teams confidence is down is a factor.

Maybe the fact that the senior players seem reluctant to seek out the young kids who are already there is a factor. Why would they seek out a first gamer?

Maybe he has had some minor injury niggles that mean he is not quite 100%.

Who knows?

Apparently he has played pretty well for the last 2 games in the VFL. I'm sure if he strings 2 or 3 more in a row, the match committee will give him a go.

Or maybe they'll do a Waite, and hold him back a year.

Might be worth the "waite " this way, when he does finally get him into the ones.
