What are you all on?

All you simmo fans wanted Pagan to give him a go.

Well, he got his go, and I think we've seen enough. He ain't got it.

No size, no ability, doesn't win the ball. He'll be dropped next week for the only other other guy on the same crappy level as him - number 7.

In fact, simmo makes Davies look like a Brownlow medallist.

For fun, my brother and I counted the amount of times he got in the TV screen - it was 10 times in a half for no touches (AND we've got a widescreen TV!).

To everone on this site who reckons this guy has potential, you are @#$%&! dreaming.

OFF TO THE BULLANTS AND ON TO OBSCURITY SIMMO

Not sure why you're having a crack at Luke Blackwell.

Davies would be #7 this season.

Kade is fine, don't let him owrry you, was great last week and will still be in the senior team next week. Doubt he'll play for the Bullants again this season.

Agreed. Simpson is no good. I'd like to know how many touches he's had collectively over all games he's played.

If it hits triple figures I'll jump on this mythological bandwagon.

If it's not, I'm on the Abaddon train.

I'm not sure if you people are trolling or if you honestly believe the shit that you're spouting.

Kade has genuine talent. He's got great skills, heaps of pace and doesn't seem to shirk a contest.

And do you know the best thing? THIS IS PRACTICALLY HIS FIRST SEASON IN THE ONES. I'm looking forward to seeing him develop in the years to come into a very good player.

(You got someone to bite).

Okay in all fairness, the team is travelling that badly at the moment that everyone is crying out for a few young rising stars to at least hope for the future.

Because there isn't any bar AW (and even he gets shot at sometimes) all the other young players get a thrashing.

Such is the state the fans are in that they've had enough of failure.

Cheers BW.

What this doesnt show is the amount of Pine Time, etc. There were quite a few donuts too when he first started.

With these stats, people will (rightly) play the reality check card until he proves himself. If he does, then you can play your counter-card entitled "I told you so".

Nonsense, you're living a pipe dream.

There is not one moment in his short career where he has displayed genuine talent.

I'd like to know how you've deduced from watching Carlton that he's got talent. And don;t tell me he looks good for the bullants - glen bowyer looks like chris judd in the bullants - the VFL is irrelevant.

Simpson has shown no evidence that he's a player. He can be assumed to be a dud.

If he doubles his average of 4 touches a game and gets 8 - u can post all the 'I told you so' threads you like - it would be a great achievement.

Not a Carlton long term player by any stretch of the imagination (even your very optimistic imagination.),

struggled today bigtime, but i'd keep him in just to build the kids confidence up.

he has good skills, leg speed and decent disposal, although he just doesn't have the confidence to do it at afl level.

When he does get the footy he can do what not many others can do and that's hit a target. Just can't get enough of it.

Further stats:
2003- 3 games all 0
2004- 3 games of 2, 1, 9
2005- 2, 8, 18, 5, 10, 1

I don't understand this growing trend of paying out supporters for being a fan of any one particular player. Some of us enjoy supporting Carlton, which means supporting all of the team's players. What's with the ridicule? If you don't like a player, by all means state your case, but don't start transferring that hatred to other Carlton fans who are merely looking to enjoy their favourite sport and their favourite team and perhaps, their favourite player. If that's all you're interested in go and join one of the numerous anit-Carlton message boards out there.

The more you want it to be over the longer it drags on and on and @#$%&! on....

Easy on Simmo he's only on work experience.
But Deluca must be related to Denis and I think Bryan ran over Pago's cat.

His pace isn't queried. And I don't think i've heard any negatives about his skills. Especially his kicking, where he seems to have a very accurate and penetrating left foot.

His attack on the football? Well, someone mentioned a time when he moved into Richo's oncoming path to not only contest, but gather the ball and dish it off. I don't think there is a question about his application, or his courage.

So what is it? Right, he doesn't pick up many possessions. Quite true, he has had a few games without touching the pigskin very much.

The VFL isn't irrelevant. If a player plays well he inevitably gets a game in the seniors. If his game stands out and he consistently gets mentioned in the best players it can be assumed that he is of AFL quality.

Kade has played 12 SENIOR GAMES OF FOOTBALL. In capitals because I think that it is an important fact. He is one of the most inexpierienced players on our list. Besides, he has always always been played on and off the bench, so it is hardly surprising to see his form fluctuate.

I don't see any reason to assume that he is a 'dud'.

You don't throw away players with that combination of pace and skill for nothing. Especially ones who have so few games under their belt, and have yet to develop the body size to match it with the big boys.

I'd like to hear the MC give a direct reply to that assumption.

Give him time. I have confidence that he will be a very good player. And then, if I and you are still around here 'simonverbeek', I will say 'I told you so'.
