Prendergast
Davies
Clarke

ALL GREAT ATHLETES. ALL SHITE FOOTBALLERS!!

I wish they could be cut from our list now, along with Norman.

Really disappointed with Prenders. Has the body, but complete lack of skill shown today. Yeh, he ran with Goodes.....and ran and ran and ran.......

Can we get rid of them and promote a couple of rookies???

Why can't Davies ever deliver? He has form in the Bullants, but when he comes up to the seniors has about 1 good game in 10.

He plays well there because that is where he feels most comfortable - so let him have it.

TOO MANY CHANCES - NOT ENOUGH GRUNT, NOT ENOUGH ANYTHING!

Back to the Rovers Justin - hoo roo

Agree with Prendergast and Davies being dropped for Chambers and Sporn who are better footballers who have underachieved.Clarke should be played as he at least goes hard at the ball and should only be dropped for Russell to debut not Bowyer or Longmuir.

I thought that Longmuir has played well in the Bullants in the past couple of weeks (I'm not sure how he went today). He even has a few assists when he played in the firsts which went mostly unnoticed. He will get his chance I think.

True Prenda and Davies didn't have superstar games, but Prenda kept Goodes pretty well out of the game. With Davies people expect him to get a heap of possessions but they seem to overlook all the 1%ers he does. Sure his game could have been tonnes better, but he did some nice things considering his game time, and he didn't have any major brain freezes today, which is always a positive. IIRC he was involved in a couple of the goal scoring plays, with that nice kick to Lance, and a tap down to Bryan who then kicked into the forward line resulting in Teague's (I think) goal. Still wouldn't be surprised if he was back in the VFL next week.

Would I be right in saying that it was Brett Ratten himself that suggested that Davies take his number 7? If so, he must have seen something in the lad.

david parkin once said greg williams was too fat and too slow and would never make it ... we all get it wrong at some stage!

It's a pity we haven't yet. Still he has half a season to rectify it.

Davies is still got time i think , didn't Ratten himself struggle at the start , at least he trys to go hard in it just his kicking needs improvement he wouldn't be wearing number 7 if they thinking of cutting him he could be like Rhys Shaw who is starting to fire for Collingwood who i expect lot of people was thinking they should get rid of.

I wouldn't say cut him yet, but it is time that he cemented his place in the senior side. This is his 4th year and he has to produce.

I thought Davies was ok

You can hardly fault him for not performing when he's on the pine. When he was on the park he tackled well, looked desperate, didn't turn it over all that much.

I thought Davies, and Prendergast, were ok. Especially Davies... you got enough there to work with for next week.

Davies might just need to hit the gym and work on his tank to get enough confidence to make it.

Davies is our smokie who might surprise a few people.

Davies as usual was on and off the ground however he was involved with some goal assists. Houlihan Ibelieve played th ewhole game and I can't understand why Pagan keeps persisting with him. Most supporters around me today thought he was soft and will refuse to put his body in.

I would have Davies before Houlihan, Houlihan will never bleed for this club. Anyone else notice Lappin play so wide as a defender. Often Lappin allowed his played 20 metres on him thinking he will make up the ground shouls the ball come his way - well it did not happen and he was found out many times hence he was dragged in the 3rd.

Lappin and Holihan are not defensive enough and should be played accross the middle or up forward. Also interesting to note that durring the Wizzard cup when all players were playing well including Chambers, Bannister, Sporn etc both Lappin and Houlihan were very quiet and that has continued into the season.
