Any more (ie .5) we will not be eligible for the Priority Pick. Get it into your heads people! If we finish at the end of the year with 5 wins, we will get to pick an extra talented youngster. If we end up with 5.5, 6, 7, 8, 9 whatever, we will take our chances with the rest of the clubs. Can we leave it alone now please? |

What about 5 draws. 2.5 + 2.5 = 5. Yep that will get our confidence up going into next year, all those teams we are capable of beating ![]() ![]() ![]() |

NAB AFL Draft http://afl.com.au/default.asp?pg=aflinf ... eid=195173 I'm more confused than ever. I was adamant it was 22pts or less. But even the above document states... Quote: A club which finishes the season with fewer than five wins may also receive a priority draft pick.
So is it 5 wins, or fewer than 5 wins? ![]() Anyway, here's an interesting piece on PPs. http://sportsaustralia.com/articles/may ... d3042.html |

i am positive it was 22 points as the saits ended up with 22 points and a PP a few years back. but has it changed since? it's always been 22 points as far as i'm concerned, but i've been wrong before today. |

Is the PP immediately eligible for the NRS or do we have to get some wins on the board? |

Lets not worry about the PP. I suspect that if we look like qualifying, Demitrispew will change the criteria, effective immediately, to screw us again. |

We can only win 5.5 games to get the PP. ![]() |

...Lade had to kick a point, even though an out on the full or a goal would have been better - not that losing is very fun, but a draw is hardly a barrel of laughs either. |

it's always been 22 points as far as i'm concerned, but i've been wrong before today. OK Gezman - This is what has you confused 2000 St Kilda finish last with 2 wins Priority Pick - Nick Riewoldt 1st round pick - Justin Kositske 2001 Fremantle finish last with 2 wins St Kilda finish 15th with 4 wins West coast finish 14 with 5 wins Priority Pick 1 - Luke Hodge (pick traded for Croad) Priority Pick 2 - Luke Ball Priority Pick 3 - Chris Judd 1st round -pick 4 Graham Polack 1st Round - Pick 5 X Clarke 1st round - Pick 6 A Sampi 2002 Carlton finishLast with 3 wins St Kilda Finished 14th with 5.5 wins Carlton 'earns' PP Carlton 'earns' 1st pick Round 1 St kilda has second 1st round pick (equivalent to pick 3) Andrew Demetriou tries to bring the Carlton footy club to its knees - amongst other things bans carlton from First two rounds of draft for two years and no priority pick for 1 year. We had already traded our 3rd round pick for some thing. No priority picks this year 1st Round - pick 1 - BJ Goddard 1st Round - Pick 2 - D Wells 4th Round - Pick 45 K Simpson So the Saints did have first pick with 5.5 wins but it was a round 1 pick and not a PP. |

If we had 18 draws and 4 wins for the season and made the finals, would we get a PP cos we have less than five wins? |
