Just for a moment I remembered those wizz fizz wins and thought this is it we'll not be headed now... Just for a moment the beer tasted sweet, my brother made sense and Lance strode the turf like a colossal titan of old... Just for a moment I smiled that stupid smile a winner wears when he thinks he'll be singing his beloved bluebagger song again... Just for a moment it was like days of old we had a booming kick and an old fashioned forward... Just for a moment I thought I remembered that there is nothing, nothing in the world sweeter than winning a game of football... Just for a moment I looked at my brother, he looked at me and we thought... but just for a moment as the swannies kicked away again. Now to sink back to the crap of PP's and all the other bed warmers I need t o get this this winter of discontent. But just for a moment a tiny little sunlight moment I thought, oh I dared to think, the bluebaggers would win. And in that moment I was happy and yet there wasn't a P.P. anywhere in sight. Now of course I sit and ponder which kids we'll be picking up but without the joy, the smile that makes winning so great! |

summed that up beautifully Danny. when the boys are on the march like we were at the end of the 3rd, the PP was the furthest thing from my mind... All I wanted was the four points. |

I confess to wanting the 4 points today when it seemed possible. But although Im sad, we didnt tank the game, and the reality of our predicament is clearer. |

Two weeks in a row we have hit the front in the last 1/4 and not managed to go on with it. Its a bit like being invited in for Coffee and then end up drinking coffee. |

but if you've been invited in for a coffee ... wouldn't you expect to drink coffee? have i missed something here all these years?

Maxy i6ts suppossed to be Virgin coffee not a virgin drinking coffee. |
