I agree Budzy. Surely the AFL are taking the piss or perhaps calling this person a babysitter is giving his role a bit too much cred.
Id say he is just someone who is going to work out whether any of rules we implement are within the rules. Someone to report back to the afl that things are actually happening. Babysitter might be a bit too much.

Glad its all over though. Maybe now the AFL can channel their energies into straightening out the culture of violence at Essendon* and StKilda.

What gets me, is if the AFL is so worried about alchol then why do receive sponsorship money from the industry. I look forward to the AFL banning alchol on Brownlow night and serving soft drinks and juice. Personally I think gambling and the problems it brings are just as bad if not worse than alchol so again why do they take sponsorship money.
