Would opposition defenders play further up the ground to counter a monster kick in and leave a big Pagans paddock open for us to score in?

A future Carlton team with Hartlett Bryan Setanta Fev and Waite would make Pagans paddock a lot more viable than it has proven to be to date.

What do you guys think?

See - this year is horrible - but necessary. We are at point A, needing to get to point B.

We need at least 4 A grade midfielders, but preferably 5, Bryan, Hartlett, Fev, Setanta, Waite with Eddie crumbing - and the others currently on the list who are worth persevering with - and we do have a good side.

As painful as it is (and I agree it hurts quite a bit) The quickest way from A to B is via the spoon.

A porridge stirrer this year would be the mode of transport we need to get to where we want to go.
