OK is this a 7.10pm or 7.40pm start? Both times are listed on the CFC website and in various other spots (The Hun says 7.10pm, AFL.com says 7.40pm)

I don't think it matters what time it starts, Richmond are in the box seat.

Who takes Riewoldt?

Thornton for mine though I wouldn't mind seeing Watson get a game, just not on Riewoldt.

I think this game will be more competitive than last year when the game was over at qtr time - I dont reckon the Richmond supporters will start spitting on their players until at least half time

..jumping jack is a concern.. ..he's had even less pre-season prep than Hendo, so this talk of jack playing further upfield/chfesque may not occur round1 since he'll be underdone.. ..personally i reckon he's more suited to playing deep FF anyway..

This match started at 7:10pm last year. I guess with Ch 10 agreeing to go live with the game that the AFL have decided to push the start time back 1/2 hour.

CFC website says 7.40 start. Just noticed that the club website has a countdown clock to the first game. It says 03 days 17 hours 13 minutes and 29 seconds to go. (when i looked at it a couple of minutes ago)
I am no mathematics whizz but shouldnt it read 04 days and about 20 minutes?

It was changed to 7.40 a couple of weeks ago, same with the Friday night game.

Tough to choose the best 22, changed it more than my reg grundies this week. McLean or Curnow or both? T-Bird or White? Carrots or Mitch? Hammer inj or the rookie Casboult?

I'm expecting a 10 goal win based on us talking up the new approach to our football. A loss in this game and .... I just don't even want to go there.
