Fevola, Fevola, Fevola, Fevola, Fevola.

Okay he wasn't that great, but he put in a solid four quarters and bagged the five goals. He really should put in like this every week, but his effort tonight deserves full credit and he desrves a rest for that dodgy groin.

Carrazzo, I'm glad I've always been on the Carrots bandwagon because he again showed tonight that he can play.

Johnson, got a fair bit of the footy, but wasn't that influential IMO. However, at least he won the ball.

Lappin, tireless as always and is an absolute legend the way he plays such good footy with that skinny body of his. Imagine if he had Kouta's physique.

Bryan, wasn't great, but put in a good effort in this heat. Got a few kicks around the ground and at least looks coordinated. Should prove to be a solid contributor for us going forward.

We won't lose next weekend.

Chris Bryan = positive
may not be a ruckman, but he is a big fella and seems to enjoy playing (which is a big positive at the moment)..........and taking a mark

do they count a kick in as a possesion? (always been confused). If not then Kade Simpson for at least doubling his career possession tally in AFL footy with 18

WE DONT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS CRAP NEXT WEEK
Positives- bryan simpson carrazzo walker FEVOLA lappin
How scary thinking about playing the eagles in 2 weeks time
Shocking start tonight and just so loose and unaccountable
3 misses at the start of third quarter diabolical - from two of our leaders
Going Forward
Hurry and sign fevola up and apart from waite walker -thorton -everyone should be up for grabs - the lack of real spirit over the last 7 weeks apart from perhaps sydney and adelaide games just woeful - and supporters who have been supportive in terms of membership really be shouldnt have to put up with it- play the kids and find out who bleeds for the jumper and if they dont piss them off dennis we dont want them
After tonight must play russell blackwell and anyone else - get fisher back in the side
Leave simpson betts bryan LIVO in the team for the next 5 weeks - let bentick have a real go

The positive is we didn't just lose to anyone tonight. We lost to a powerhouse team at full strength with an extraordinary home ground advantage and over the top biased umpiring.

Pretty much agree with 79 Vintage and camelboys assessments of who could hold their head up high, but the lack of intensity and urgency in our play is disturbing and is not a good environment to be bringing young players into. I would be keeping our "next wave" of youngsters together in the Bullants for now and keep them positive.

The only positive is with our stars not performing this may be what the side is like when they retire. Oh no, that's a negative and this is how good the side will be when they are replaced by skinny kids.

Watching the Bulldogs it appears that skinny kids will win you a few games, if only to be smashed in the finals.

Exactly, we have the inverted tank happening.

Playing our talented youngsters might invigorate the side and result in a few wins.

Post subject:  The dogs wont make the finals

THATS WHAT IS CRIMINAL ABOUT some of our losses this year - we have been thrashed by the dogs - lets face it 46 points flattered us and the tigers by 80 points - both who wont play in the finals - both who have better lists than us but not by at least 8 or more goals
At least Geelong is a good side but both the dogs and richmond are mediocre - how can you thrash the dogs in the wizzer cup and then get thrashed by them 12 weeks later - when we had nearly the same team playing in each match
We just go under too easily -its not good enough and we shouldnt have to put up with it - yes we are not as good but that doesnt mean you cant man up or chase or be desparate for the contest to try to bridge that gap

I believe they only count as a possession when he plays on ... i.e. the kick to himself doesn't count, the next disposal does.

Didn't see the game, and I think that's a positive. :(

Darwin's climate is perfect for the Dogs. They're a team full of lean, running types. As displayed a couple of years ago vs the indiginous allstars we struggle against a team which consists of 22 midfielders, especially in Darwin.

I don't want to be seen to be bitter or anything, but I honestly can't see a lineup like the Bulldogs making much inroads into September action. If you want to win finals you need a good midfield plus good KPP.

The dogs have experienced talent so the kids don't have to do the heavy lifting!

Experienced talent that is all around 6' tall. With no genuine star KPP the dogs will only be making up numbers if they grab a finals berth.
