IMO there's a couple of clues in there to the identity of at least one of the "team" of writers. ;)

Good work. 8)

[quote]“Oh I say old chap, aren’t those Demons doing well at the moment? I turned on the wireless in the Range Rover the other day and heard that the Melbourne team have been playing a very agreeable brand of football. Hearty congratulations to Neale Donahue, one must be very proud of one’s coach, hurrah!â€

My favourite:

St Kilda:
How things have changed down at Moorabbin. In the past, you could only get a game at the Saints if you were a misguided youth, an ex Carlton player, or a wimpy peroxide blonde. Nowadays, you can only get a game if you are a misguided youth, an ex Carlton player, or a wimpy peroxide blonde.

Who were the past Carlton / St kilda swapsies... where's Obscuratron when you need him/her/it? Sheldon, Marcou, Hamill... I'm sure there were heaps of them early to mid 1980's?

I'm disappointed that Kaptain Kouta and myself weren't consulted on the Sydney Swans bit.

Then again, maybe that's a good idea - we do have issues controlling our language....

I'm sure Deano if the club gets enough hits on it that there will be a follow up for you to contribute to.
