How can I assist the Carlton Football Club?

I have thought of a way that I can assist Carlton.

I buy beverages at dan murphy’s now that they sponsor Carlton. If they didn’t sponsor Carlton I wouldn’t have gone to them.

It is a bit out of the way for me, compared to other bottle shops, but they put money into Carlton so I can put money into their coffers without a problem.

If anyone wants to send feedback to them you can send an email to:

sales@danmurphys.com.au

I wonder if anyone has bought a toshiba product cause of their link to the Blues? Or a SAAB??? Or AVCO insurance??? or anything else for that matter.. A Hyundai?

You could try to convince 5 of your Carlton loving friends to read one more article on carltonfc.com.au each week, especially those on non-TC sites.

Carlton is coming first in hits / unique visitors, but is losing ground to the Pies, Tiges and Saints.

make carltonfc.com.au your home page.

Every time you start up a browser, is a hit for the club.

It might also incourage you to browse the site a bit.

33,000 members this year, 32,000 last year and 33,000 the year before says it all about the supporters. I think it's time the club put something back into the supporters from now on in, don't you?

with the Dan Murphy's - im amazed that they dont actually offer something for carlton members.

something like 5% off if you produce your membership or something. Same goes for Optus for that matter.

You give the members something and i reckon they will flock to it in droves.

If i knew i was getting a 5% discount by shopping at Dan Murphys and it would benefit the club through membership, i would walk the extra 500m to go to Dan Murphy's as compared to goint to the bottle shop at the end of the street.

Smacks more of evil  rather than humane - hope your boss had to pay a huge excess  .

In fact I hope he is still paying for it.

In fact I hope he pays for it for ever.

Maybe if certain players on our list followed the:

"Ask not what my club can do for me, rather what can I do for my club"

credo then we may be better placed.

I think if the supporters can dig deep (like they have over our worst time in history), don't we think that is enough and that maybe just maybe we are expecting too much now.

Don't forget supporters also through their money into the "hero stand", the "legends stand", among others only to see us reallocate.

I hate being the bad guy, but fair dinkum haven't the supporters been fantastic up until know. :? What else does the club want?

Worst post even, give me a break.

You don't get any better Surrey!

It might surprise you, but there are many people like me, who have actually stepped up their donations in this time of adversity. We don't expect anything from the Club other than to extract ourselves from the mire created by the follies of the previous administration.I don't give a flying fig about the heroes stand,my donation to that particular cause was a way of giving to the CLUB!

I will continue to give unconditionally.Might i suggest you slip into the room of mirrors and take a long hard look at yourself!

SurreyBlue, i know where you are coming from. The last 3 -4 years have been difficult for supporters more than just about anyone, but by letting the sponsors know we are out there i reckon it will mean sponsors feel they get value for money and then we don't have to dig so deep into our pockets.

Dan Murphy's is a bit out of the way for me - i need to drive there while there is a local pub within walking distance, but i still get the beverages from Dan Murphys as they are putting money into the club.

It all helps...and once campo's contract is cut to below what chris judd earns  we will have more money freed up for the club.

Surrey, the 1000 supporters donating $1000 program was to raise $1,000,000 very quickly was a program to reduce our debt as quickly as possible. It had nothing to do with the issue of relocation. It had all to do with our club surviving.
