| Post subject: | Today, I want to be proud of my football team |
Today, I would really like to see my/our football side put in a performance that shows characteristics of players who desperately want to get the best out of their football abilities. What I really don't like is that I have no feelings of defending or supporting the Carlton players this year, and I am growingly not liking myself for it. Is a performance with heart and passion too much to ask for? Or are our players just not up to it as I fear? Show some heart fellas.

DITTO!! If those boys played with the heart, that many of our supporters support with, we'd be looking a hell of alot better. Don't even have to win, just show us you wanna be there, doing the best you can for the navy blue. |

Hopefully our senior players are refreshed enough after the break to return to their earlier form and some of our kids continue to improve. While there is no way I expect us to win, a competative effort will warm this Blue Boys heart. |

After leaving the social club half way thru the third quarter, half a quarter after Carlton left Subiaco, I listened to the Melbourne Storm game on the drive home. Do you think Billy Slater could play AFL?
