Competative first half and then the WC class came out in the second half... And i guess at the end of the day that was always a possibility.. got to wonder how good is Judd you cant do much to stop him when he gets free Well back to seeing who is standing up and maybe better looking at first half lol Bryan done enough to show is a good back up ruck ... did well in first half but hard to maintain against best ruck in competition will be good as back up to French.. Prender hmmmm ????? Waite is givin his all actually cant blame forwards ball hasnt been up there second half. Midfield is definately stopped .. Campo second half gone Awol / Kouta Awol / LAppin missing / Stevo done bits not much...... Not much to add just go back to accessing the list i guess ![]() |

Judd is made to look good by the blocks put on by the other Eagles midfielders. Both he and Cousins get that all important few steps break on their opponent due to screens and shepherds. Our midfield is being cut to ribbons and other than Walker appear to be as slow as treacle. |

I love watching Judd play. He can do more damage with 15 possessions than most players could do with 50. Walker would have learnt a lot today, lesson number one, there is only one Chris Judd. |

Pagan has lost it. What would you have him do? At least if he's playing tight on Judd he'll get near the ball. If you're going to bag Pagan at every opportunity then why not tell us what he should be doing to get the team winning. |

So in other words you're content to bag mercilessly but you have no idea. |

Pagan has lost it. Maybe, just maybe, getting Walker to tag gun opposition midfielders will teach him accountablilty, something that not one of our other midfielders has displayed today. If that's indicitive of Pagan losing it, then I hope he loses it with the rest of the midfield. |

Surely man on man might be a better way to go when you are getting thrashed. If Pagan is serious about building a team plan, then why not play to that plan and get pumped because the cattle is not good enough to execute it. Surely the Flood is not his trademark, his plan, or is it ? I hope its not . Its over now, so no point cracking the Shites, we are one week closer to seasons end, and closer to the draft, but what i once thought was a team one draft away from being competive is not what i think or know now. Who are we kidding if we think a few early picks will help us , our problems run deeper, how deep we'll know when we see the number of players turned over come seasons end. Oh well at least we have our health..... |

Judd was nothing more than OK .Chad Fletcher was there go to man,and he absolutly shredded us.Not manning him up was criminal. We were going ok whilst playing man on man,but the flood was a gift to the eagles coaching panel. There backmen were running down unattended and that is a perfect scenario for the weagles.Pitiful tactics blues. We have a badly out of form coach for mine.Talk of tanking is just an easy copout. |

Pagan has lost it. I loved the move.... and realistically - it came off magnificently against the Lions' standout player the other week -s o what was he going to do, put Campo there? (By the way - I thought Campo had his best game for some time - the desire was there.....) House |

he had a good first half dont think he touched the ball in the second half or maybe once but then again there where many others who seemed to suffer leather averersion in the second half |

Pagan has lost it. Agree what a waste, especially when he was tagging the no.1 pick Cooney last game. Not gonna get anything out of chasing blokes around every week. Should be developed into a player that needs to be tagged himself. |

I disagree guys, Walker tagging had been the best move for his development. Like Selwood of Brisbane, he is learning exactly why the best are the best. If he takes one lesson from each type of player and applies that to his own game, he will be the best player in that draft by a long way. Judd is Judd, I've seen him play better, yet Walker still managed 15 possessions himself in a midfield that was non-existent after half time. |

It's all about Andrew learning about the game re: tagging. Answer me this... Does Wells, Goddard or Cooney have a defensive side to their game? |

Answer me this... Does Wells, Goddard or Cooney have a defensive side to their game? Do Wells, Goddard and Cooney play in a team like Carlton without any leadership, without any midfield support, without any hope in hell of winning another game this year, without any confidence? Lets just throw Walker in the middle and let him play his natural game. I'll tell you what will happen. Walker will learn how to chase tails every week. At least tagging he learns the positioning and movements of the elite players in the AFL. Remember Walker played alot of his footy in the backline for Vic Country and Bendigo. Cooney, Wells and Goddard played midfield 80% of there careers and in the case of Cooney and Wells, SANFL and WAFL senior level. |
