In the Good Weekend section of the Age is an article on Fox Hunting and the Master of the Hunt is none other than our very own John Gould, 110 Games for Carlton including 2 Premerships. Anyone who saw him play will remember him, arms and legs flaying with a unique kicking style that seemed to transport the ball from CHB to CHF. While not one who can condone killing for pleasure, John Gould always had, and continues to have, style in everything he did. (Sorry I cannot find the link.) |
