............................we could field this team on the weekend, we would go both a long way to further defining our team structure, as well as have, even in these troubled days, a real shot at beating the Saints. It would take much courage and vision to make these calls, and I am aware it wouldn't happen, but I would be interested in hearing the thoughts of others.

Backs: Bryan Livingston Russell
H/Backs: Teague Thornton Lappin
Centres: Stevens Walker Camporeale
H/Forwards: Waite Whitnall Davies
Forwards: Fisher Fevola Betts
Followers: French Koutafides Carrazzo
I/C: Johnson McGrath Prendergast Norman

Scotland, Houlihan, Chambers and Sporn can play for the Bullants. How long did we sign Chambers and Scotland for? When can we rid ourselves of their un-accountable play and general inepitude?

What the hell are you talking about Heath Scottlands problem he is to devensive he is to worried about his opponent thats why he got dropped he was following his man to the ball and not getting it himself.

Chambers has had a injury interupted season and has not had time to settle bryan in the back pocket you got to be kiddin mate.
Have you seen the siz of Jordan Russel he will get absolutely belted on the ground, why would you wana shot down a kids confidence playing him when he is not ready.

Fisher could not possible run out a full game at Telstra dome he has played only 3 games for the bullants.

THE ONLY REASON I WOULD PLAY YOUR LIST IS TO GUARANTE A LOSS AND FURTHER HELP US GAINING THOSE VALUABLE DRAFT PICKS

nice list.

i'd have simpson and bentick on the bench instead of karl and prenda.

add to the midfield rotation. i'd probably have to play houla, even if its up forward, but him where davies is.

also i wouldn't drop bowyer, thought he was one of the only players to show some ticker in the second half last week.

but i see where you are coming from with this list, looking to the future and not just to this weekend.

the sad reality is on the weekend we will field almost that exact team and it would get thumped by 15 other clubs in the competition.

Yep, great vision within the Blues match committee. Rewarding poor performances sets a good example to the younger players.

I can see it now, and the winner of the 2005 best and fairest is .......

1. Jordan Bannister
2. Ian Predergast
3. Trent Sporn

Nup, I watched the games on Foxtel at my mates place, and he wasn't up for it.
