What! 250k per year. How can you pay off the yacht and the Maserati and still have enought to go to Europe with Hamill.

And then Collo said that pay cuts were needed to assist the club in bringing in an A-grader

OR

Dave Allison just called to see if you need any extra help with your contract negotiations

"You DO realise that even if I take a massive pay cut, I'll still be earning more than the Prime Minister?" CAMPO.

"Yes, and did you realise that even if I take a guaranteed 2 year contract from the club, that's 2 years more guaranteed employment than any other Australian worker is ever likely to get. Most of those poor bastards can get sacked at any moment." LAPPO

"Hmmm, certainly puts things into perspective, doesn't it?" CAMPO

Lappo - On Sunday, after the toss, lets tell Fev we are kicking the opposite way so when he heads down to goalsquare he will run in Fraser and have nightmares again...

Lappin: F#@#ing fairweather internet supporters. Fat bastards sitting in front of their computers eating their greasy fried foods - all of them the size of a house - They wouldn't even be able to do half a lap around optus oval yet they think they know all about how to play footy and think that because I haven't has as good a year this year as the past few that they even have a right to have an opinion about my contract- Jeez you'd reckon after 140 odd games in the jumper and sticking loyal after an offer from the tigers they'd leave me alone - but nooo... they're eating their own now and all feeling smug about out it.

Campo: I know what you mean- these geeks don't even have real relationships with people. They type everything to eachother. If they had to meet in person it would be a bumcrack convention. The fat lonely bastards sit in chatrooms all day thinking that they know everything about everything. After nearly 225 games they still question my commitment- is it them who take the hits? Is it them who are swimming in the ocean at 5.30 on a winter morning? Is it them who knocked back offers to go back to SA to play? Is it them who have had to carry a team of hacks for the past 5 years with the help of only 5 or 6 others?? Yeah, I lose it sometimes when I'm trying to PLAY THE BALL and my opponents try to Play THE MAN. I shouldn't have to get used to it either because that is not FAIR SPORTSMANSHIP in my eyes.Is it them who front up up week after week, year after year, do the charity work, make kids happy?Oh well the club has to pay 92% of the salary cap so someone has to earn big bikkies - maybe Collo will give Spornie or Davies or Clarkie the big bucks that they deserve.
