There will be casualties at the end of the year and I'm afraid Libba might be a prime candidate to be shown the door.
I've read training reports that state Libba amongst other things is teaching tackling. The attempts to tackle on match day are there but the execution can't be right when the player tackled handballs off or breaks the tackle with ease. It just seems a huge waiste of effort and energy and must contribute to the players running out of steam so early.
I admit I've never liked Libba because of some of his crude match day tactics and wouldn't be at all upset if he was moved on.

so what you're really saying is 'I hate Libba, let's blame him for our piss poor efforts and show him the door.'

One of Libba and Trout has to be moved on and given the relationship between Denis and Trout, I think it'll be Libba.

Hoping to go that we either recruit Rehn or Voss.

Don't know why I wrote that.
Wasn't even thinking of Livo either.

Have to agree that Libba doesnt seem to have added anything. We need a coach with ideas and the knowledge of what is req to win. Libba is a yes man and came from a culture of failure.

Can someone please enlighten me as to what Tony Elshaugh does? Is he the match day tactician, motivator, planner?

At least Libba appears to be doing something at training. Whether that something is of value is questionable but at least he appears to be out there. ditto Mitchell.

Or is Elshaugh simply DP's piss boy?

Given the wanderous turnaround that Wayne Carey was supposed to bring about to our marking forwards, one might wonder if there's a better replacement out there also?

Can the same be said about Libba? Not defending him, I reckon he has to be accountable and agree with the general sentiment, however it bemuses me that Wayne is not put under the same spotlight.

Perhaps it's because he is their as a volunteer and not in a full time position whereas Libba is?

Perhaps because its hard to mark the ball if the ball isn't getting forward and when it does its done so pretty poorly.

I wonder if Carey has been working closely with Waite?

Our tackling is a joke. If Libba is responsible for that then no matter what else he's doing he should be replaced.

Someone from a winning culture would be nice.

We should see if we can arrange a training session with the storm.

Libba must go. Was suspect around the value add he would provide when he was first appointed. Wanted Ashcroft instead.

Get some fresh blood, preferably, Shaun Hart, Rehn, Vossy, or even Ashcroft.

Our stocks in the assistant coaches department require a serious overhaul.

If Libba is the tackling coach then there are two things ..either he isnt doing his job or the players are incapable of following his directions..our tackling is woeful.....Eddie Betts is one of the better tacklers we have....get Eddie fitter so he can run in the midfield and demonstrate to these other show pony's how to lay a tackle....

He is not the head coach why blame him?

Why blame the head coach for poor tackling, others have indicated libba is in charge of tackling training so I have questioned his ability to get the job done...
The Head coach can ask his players to do certain tasks...they seem incapable of following direction or unwilling to do so....they dont chase, dont tackle and dont support their teammates...forget about ball skills they cant get the basics of playing a team sport correct.
When the coach has sufficient talent and resources and is under performing them I will question his abilities..at the moment he might as well not turn up as the players are not united and are a selfish bunch of cheats who dont deserve playing under a quality coach...
