Now this bloke doesnt have a position at the Saints.
He plays second fiddle but i thought his game was marvelous again.. now that the Golden boy is out injured he is stepping up.
I came to think about what would a guy like Kosi be worth to us. ???

What would you give up to draft a REAL CHF especially a POWER CHF to this club.????
What would you offer him???

Personally for me????

Whatever it took...!!!!!!!

A long contract at a half a million Id pay for him to walk.

Agree.
He can do what basically no one at our club, bar probably Fish, can do.
And that is take a contested mark.
The guy is a very, very good player.

I'd offer him a 400k contract.

St.Kilda would most definitely want a first round pick plus a player for him.

Come on now Synbad, he's the CAPTAIN.

The CAPTAIN of the St Kilda Football Club.

Do you even know what a prestigious and rare title that is these days?

He's in such a select group.

Pull your head in.

to quote from Dossa and Joe..."whatever you're thinking...and double it!".... SAints have mismanaged him playing him in the ruck week in and out when he was 18 and then wondering why he was so injury prone....(done a josh fraser on him!)...I think though as he matures, he'll only get better...
a will Reiwolt (which is scary!)

The only problem with Kosi is he is injury prone..

I saw the stat, he has missed 38 games so far in his career due to injury. Thats nearly 2 years of footy out of 4-5 years.

Can you image if we gave everything to get him, pay big bucks and he couldn't get on the ground.... The saints supporters would be calling him Hamill....

Nah he is only 22 so he will be 27 when the 5 years are up... and id rather give him 500k then Campo or Lance.

His body wont start packing up till hes 27 to 28... but we need him.
Unless you can think of another power CHF and how we can bring him to the club.

Only if he stays at CHF and doesn't play in the ruck.. Yep, he is worth 500K a year to us if he can play 22 games...

The only thing we could offer is picks 1 or 3 for him, I can't see St Kilda being interested in any of our players or any other club as a matter of fact....

Saints might be interested for picks 1 and 3 , but only might because it is a crap draft with none of the talent on offer half as as good as Kossi.

Hey PJ, it was a good game up until half time. eh.

Let's be honest, if you were Kossi, would you be bailing on your mates to play with a rabble.

If your were Murphy, would you want to play for the Lions or Carlton.

Unfortunately, if we wanted to sell the club to him as the place to be we probably missed the opportunity today.

 right back at ya

Kosi will sign with St.Kilda.
That I have no doubt of.

If I were Murphy, I'd want to play with Carlton.
Why? Immediate game time.
If Murphy was at the Lions he'd have to wait probably 2-3 years before he played on a consistent basis.
Hard to break into a midfield of Hadley, Aker, Black, Voss, Lappin etc etc

Yea, maybe you are right on Murphy, but the boy probably wants to play in a winning side occassionally

Murphy would rather play for Carlton.
If we cant get Kosi we can certainly drive up his price. :P
Its not like StKilda will ever win a premiership....
