Post subject: | Leadership or can you have Negative Leadership. |
We talk about how our club is lacking onfield leadership which i think is largely true and certainly dosnt help our younger players on the list but i think we have something more i am sure we have negative leadership so instead of having inspirational senior players leading our younger brigade i reckon we have a couple of players who are generating negative vibes on the field.. Campo and prob Whits i would put under the spotlight and seem to be disgruntled maybe not happy with contract negotiations or being offered a lot less than they want.. Maybe also the fact that the team is at its lowest has them just not caring not sure these are more observations but is there a chance that they are causing some negative feeling in the group maybe they are having shots at the club / coach ect and that maybe having some effect on other players.. Certainly Teague / T-Bird /stevo and a few others have had some attitude shifts more and more since the spotlight on contract issues come onto Whits and Campo... Kouta i dont think is negative he just dosnt seem to do much and certainly not standing up in leadership when the Blues need it most.. Lappin never looked at him as a leader .....so how much damage would a couple of Key players do within the club if they are generating what i would term neagtive leadership. I hope the leadership group is completely overhauled come year end.... Also i have to admit i think that as a poll suggested Campo and Whits have to be traded off especially if they are generating a negative influence... This has to stop now and cannot continue into 2006....No more |
