The Best of TalkingCarlton Thought I would go through and pick out some of my personal favourites. Rather than individual posts these are all generally threads that include great discussions, arguments, one-upmanship, scoops or predictions. This is a long list, but I would be interested to know of any others people have enjoyed. A harsh look at the clean-out ahead - A look at the list and a good discusion about the pee pee. A little Diesel - Looking into the future and the prospect of Jai. A Question For Synbad - A very long 'discussion', I love these type of threads. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS - A rare event, frank get a little hot under the collar. all together now.............! - a tommi special, about chants. Andrew Carrazzo...... get in close - The Tyrant suggest we play Carrazzo in the midfield. Big Jack invited back to Carlton - A discussion about Elliot's return to Princes Park. Black Eye, Please explain! - The origin of the term 'down hill skiier'. Carlton For Wooden Spoon ? - A Rambo special. Class of 2000 - coming of age - frank begins discussion about our 2000 recruits. Congratulations Chris Bryan... - The anticipation of a blue debut. Denis Pagan OUTCOACHED yet again... - a long and winding coaching discussion. DO ME A FAVOUR DENNIS - Good discussion about team unity. Figure$ - A player contract discussion, always entertaining. For those struggling to accept reality... - Trying to work out how the club got into this position. Ground Re-development: Carlton Football Club Foundation - A good discussion about the club's administration. How bad are our supporters? - Looking inwards at our supporting culture. I'm confused - optimists versus pessimists. Inside Footy stuff - TC starts getting some press. Is anyone there???? - One of the first posts on TC, the refugees scramble for land. I love this thread, makes me smile. Let's find out what Simmo can do.... - A call out by ponky to give Simmo a go. Oh, what a night! - One of the great things about footy forums is those who have been to club functions can share some of their experience with those who cannot attend. R2: Never been prouder- positives - A staple of TC, frank's positives thread. Season over- what say you now? - A titanic battle between therubbernub and The Tyrant. Setanta in first team? - A scoop from Kevin Bohane. Possibly the first ever footy story to come from Ireland. Some food for thought - Speculation about team discontent. The Man who shot Liberty vallance - a dannyboy inspired ramble. The master - The birth of the POW. THE WOOF IS BACK!!!!!!! - The TC Squad bring back the WOOF. Top 20 Princes Park-Optus Oval Memories - Some great personal memories of Princes Park. True analysis of my arse - Great TC pun-a-thon. Well Done! Now do we meet this saturday evening? - A great aspect of TC, as a means of getting together socially with other Carlton supporters. Who misses...... - Great memories of the Carlton Social Club. Wizard Cup GF: CARLTON v West Coast LIVE!!! - Our WC win LIVE, you can feel the excitement. WOLFISTER'S ONE OFF TRIBUTE - Goodbye Princes Park - Last but not least, we all love the One Cent Stats, here is wolfy's statistical tribute to Princes Park. |

Add this thread Jarooooce. I like it I like it I like it I like it I li-li-li-like it Actually the Hammers board I frequent has a Hall Of Fame for their best threads over the years. Basically if the current talk is shit, you just go in there and have a laugh. Riss would love it! |

That "Class of 2000 -coming of age" thread is a ripper. "One of the best aspects of our recent wizard cup wins is the continuing development of Livo Sporn and Wiggins.Whilst it is only the Wizzer Cup each have shown that they are going to make a valuable contribution to the senior team this year. " OUCH! Where did it all go wrong? |

I'm thinking about it Deano. 
I love reading some of the old threads, really gives a little snapshot into how the supporters were thinking at different stages. BH, I like the idea of a thread hall of fame. Maybe we should get into the mods ears. tommi, yes it is cold.
